Pleasant refreshment in pristine nature
In summer months, when the temperature rises over 30° C, a nice refreshing break can be found along the natural bathing areas by the Idrijca river. One of the most visited ones is most definitely the natural bathing area in the village of Reka called Na Kurn’ku. In pristine nature, in the shade of the trees, with clear pools, unspoiled river beaches, and swimming and jumping into refreshing water, the Idrijca river invites you to visit it.
Apart from relaxing by and in the river you can also visit the Kurn’k bar, which offers additional refreshment with drinks and at request also with food, as well as a patio for sunbathing, a private area on the beach, and a lot more. To make sure that you truly won’t be bored, visit one of the sights in the Cerkno region, go on several hiking and cycling trails, and visit Hotel Cerkno or the Alpska Perla restaurant on top of the Cerkno ski resort – for additional relaxation.
