Želin–Ravne–Želin (7.1 km; 2.15 hours)
The route starts at the Želinc Tourist Farm, located on the Idrija – Tolmin regional road in Straža/Želin. At the start of the route, you cross a meadow often used for grazing cattle, and head up towards the forest. There is an information board of the Želinc Tourist Farm, and the first signpost directing you into the forest. After about 400 metres of walking, you will reach a viewpoint with a picturesque view of the Idrijca valley.
From here, continue through the woods and follow the signs that lead you to a forest clearing with barns, past which your path goes uphill. The diverse landscape offers beautiful views of the countryside and the surrounding villages as you walk. After about 1 kilometre, the trail leads you into the forest again, where you follow signs for the village of Ravne. When the forest ends, you can admire the pond alongside the path, and walk another 500 metres or so to the village of Ravne. You return to the Želinc Tourist Farm (starting point) along the same route.
