Trail no. 4

From the Main Square, follow the road towards Idrija and turn right at the first crossroads for Gorje. Cycle past the apartment blocks and the stone walls of the ETA factory, and then through the village of Mostanija. The road starts to climb towards Trebenče, passing under the Church of St. Joyce, which stands above the quarry, past Laznica to the crossroads, where you turn left towards Gorje and Zakriž. After two kilometres of flat terrain, you reach the “Na čičneh” crossroads, from where, in fine weather, a picturesque view of the surrounding hills with Porezno in the background opens up. Turn left here and descend through the village of Zakriž in the direction of Cerkno back to the starting point.
