From Cerkno the way leads you down the main road towards the Dolenji Novaki village. At the Gačnk v Logu inn turn left and follow the brook through the grove up to the parking place. From here the path leads to the gorge of the Čerinščica brook, the Pasice gorge. The famous partisan hospital was built here in 1943, which was run by Franja Bojc-Bidovec. It is an extraordinary, still preserved authentic monument from the time of National Liberation Struggle.
After visiting the gorge you can return on the same path back to the Podnjivč farm and then continue to Poljane and through Labinje back to Cerkno. From the farm onwards, the trail is marked with Slovenian Mountain Trail markers. You can also continue your hike towards the Črni vrh summit, where you can ski in winter and enjoy hiking or picking mushrooms and blueberries in summer.
